The G&S Foundation
Incorporated in 1999, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston Foundation has the preservation of the comic masterpieces of Sir W. S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur S. Sullivan as one of its principal objectives. Houston audiences have come to anticipate with delight the annual productions of these gems of the musical stage by the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston, one of the world’s premiere groups performing the Gilbert & Sullivan operas.
Now, after over 70 years of yearly performances, the Society’s productions are a testament to the enduring appeal of the Gilbert & Sullivan traditions.
The Foundation seeks to assure the continuation of those proud traditions by providing long-term financial support to the Society, thereby assuring the legacy of Gilbert & Sullivan, not only for audiences today but for future generations as well.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Foundation looks to the public for tax-favored contributions to provide ongoing support for the perpetuation of this unique form of musical theater.
