In Memoriam: Carl Pollex

Long-time Society member Carl Pollex passed away on April 28, 2026.

Carl was a supporter of the Society for over forty years, sang with us for eleven years, and served two terms on the board of directors. His humor, musicality, and generosity enhanced the Society and all who knew him.

Is life a boon?
   If so, it must befall
   That Death, whene’er he call,
Must call too soon.

God speed, Carl. You will be sorely missed.
