Set in a highly colorful Venice, the story follows two charming brother gondoliers, Marco and Giuseppe, who unwittingly discover one of them is the heir to a royal throne. As they navigate the complexities of love and duty, a series of humorous misunderstandings and mixed-up identities unfold. With its charming melodies and witty dialogue, the opera explores themes of class, love, and friendship in a lighthearted manner.
